Wrinkle Treatment with Hyaluronan

Fine and superficial wrinkles as well as deeply carved ones can be filled up with Hyaluronan. Naso-optic wrinkles (from the wing of the nose to the corner of the mouth) are particularly suited for this. The shape of the lips can easily be accentuated with the help of Hyaluronan and face, décolleté and hands ”revitalised” within a course of treatment consisting of three visits.

How is the treatment with Hyluronan carried out?

In a free consultation we will first ascertain whether this treatment is suitable for you and how promising this treatment will be. After that we will determine the areas that are to be treated and the amount of Hyaluronan necessary.

After removing the make-up, the face will be disinfected. With a thin needle the Hyaluronan will be injected beneath the wrinkles. According to area and to how sensitive the patient is, this will be done under local anaesthetic with a supplementary syringe or a Hyaluronan preparation to which a narcotic has already been added.  If wished for, one can of course also go without local anaesthetic. After the treatment the face mostly is a bit reddened and slightly swollen, but usually returns to normal within a few days.

Does the treatment hurt?

Completely without local anaesthetic, especially the region of mouth and lips can be highly sensitive to pain and the treatment very unpleasant. Anaesthetization is absolutely recommended here. Otherwise the treatment is unpleasant, but definitely endurable

How long does the result last?

Mostly between 6 and 12 months. Regular follow-up treatments are recommended to achieve a constant result. Injecting smaller amounts more often is more inconspicuous than undergoing a bigger treatment every 1-3 years.

How much does a treatment with Hyaluronan cost?

A treatment with up to 1 ml Restylane, Restylane Perlane or Restylane Lipp costs 390 €. With more than 1 ml being used, you will also be charged the additional material costs. In a check 2 weeks later, if a further injection is required, this can be given to the pure cost of material price. The price then depends on the amount and the type of preparation (0,5 ml Restylane 108€, 1 ml Restylane 165€, 0,5 ml Restylane Perlane 143€, 1 ml Restylane Perlane 191€, 0,5 ml Restylane Lipp 143 €, 1 ml Restylane Lipp 220€).
