Le Dr. Brigitte Klein vit et travaille à Vienne.
Après avoir terminé ses études de médecine à l’Université de Vienne, elle a effectué plusieurs années de recherche à l’Institut des pathologies générales et expérimentales de l’Université de Vienne en matière de recherche fondamentale dans le domaine des allergies. Pendant cette période, de nombreuses publications et présentations relatives à cette spécialité ont vu le jour.
Le Dr. Klein a accompli sa formation de médecin spécialiste en dermatologie de 2000 à 2006 à la clinique universitaire de dermatologie de Vienne au service de l’immunodermatologie et des maladie infectieuses de la peau à l’hôpital Empereur François-Joseph de Vienne (médecine interne) et à l’hôpital Impératrice Elisabeth (chirurgie).
Après l’obtention du décret de médecin spécialiste des maladies de la peau et des infections sexuellement transmissibles, le cabinet de la rue Hietzinger Hauptstrasse a été ouvert en juin 2008 et celui de la rue Währinger Strasse en octobre 2008. Depuis avril 2009 le cabinet de Hietzing, « solution transitoire » idéale pendant l’achèvement des travaux au cabinet de Währing, est fermé.
Conférencière à l’école d’infirmière de l’hôpital Impératrice Elisabeth de Vienne.
Remplaçante pour plusieurs dermatologues conventionnés et au sanatorium Hera.
